8.30 - 9.00: Meet the tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and embark on a Hanoi City tour.
First, and "reverence" are the keywords.
Wander through the grounds to see Uncle Ho’s "House-on-stilts", the Presidential Palace, and One-Pillar Pagoda, where the Goddess of Mercy is worshipped.
Take a short visit to the Gallery of Lacquer Painting Collection
Next stop - West Lake, Hanoi’s largest lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda, a Buddhist relic, and national heritage site.
Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070 and dedicated to Confucius, sages, and talented scholars.
Enjoy lunch and taste authentic Hanoi cuisine in the local restaurant.

After lunch, visit the Museum of Ethnology and learn about Vietnamese culture, customs, languages, and the house styles of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
Explore legendary Hoan Kiem Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple, dedicated to former general Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians.

Visit Bat Trang Pottery Village, built in the 14th century, and watch local artisans creating amazing handmade ceramics..

08.00 – 08.30: Pick-up at your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter and begin the 120km drive in a modern coach through the fascinating landscape of the countryside. Short-break en-route.
Arrive at Ninh Binh, to visit the Bai Dinh Pagoda Complex, the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia. Scenically set at the foothills of Dinh Mountain, surrounded by amazing views of the exquisite river valley below and dotted with breathtaking limestone karsts.
This pagoda complex comprises several temples and over 500 intricately carved Buddha statues.
Enjoy a fabulous buffet lunch in a Vietnamese restaurant and sample some special local dishes.
13.30: Leave for Trang An Grottos, an area of outstanding natural beauty with majestic limestone monoliths rising dramatically out of the rice paddy fields.
Embark in a traditional sampan, gently rowed down the exquisite river through numerous caves, Dark Cave (Hang Toi), 320 meters long, Light Cave (Hang Sang), 90 meters long, and Wine Cooking Cave (Hang Nau Ruou), 250 meters long.
Each twist and turn of the river bring new surprises and mystery hidden inside isolated valleys that appear to be from another world and time. Among the rich fauna and flora goats can be seen jumping from one cliff to another.
20.00: Transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Lao Cai, Sapa.

06.00: English speaking tour guide will pick you up at the Sapa Train Station and transfer by shuttle bus to the hotel in Sapa to leave the luggage. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
09.00: Start from your hotel and take a short drive to Y Linh Ho, then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong Village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Dzay Ethnic People, in the late afternoon (Trekking distance is about 9 km and it lasts for 3.5 hours).
Check-in at the homestay and get to know the family of Dzay People. Spend time to enjoy mountain life and the stunning sunset. Try your hand at cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace.
In the evening, you can join the fun at the nearby local coffee shop, listen to music, and socialize with other tourists.

09.00: After a simple breakfast with the local family, we say goodbye, then trek South West of Sapa to visit Giang Ta Chai Village (around 4 km) and the Red Dzao Ethnic minority villagers.
Take a short break at Rattan Bridge, the oldest rattan bridge in Sapa. Visit some traditional houses and continue to Su Pan Village, where you can learn about the villager's way of life and Relax at the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during colonial times.
Enjoy lunch in the village. Afterward, transfer back to Sapa Town via minivan and check-in at the hotel and enjoy free leisure time.
15.30: Transfer the bus station for the sleeper bus back to Hanoi
23.45 Arrival in Hanoi. End of Sapa Tour from Hanoi. Check-in hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

After dinner, relax on the sundeck, listen to music, sing karaoke, or try squid fishing.

Back to our cruise ship to check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with amazing shapes depending on your imagination.
10.00: Take part in a Cooking Class on the cruise sundeck.
Farewell lunch is served onboard the cruise ship before you arrive at the harbor.
12.30: Board the bus to Hanoi

- Beside the essential items such as long sleeve clothes, hat, trekking shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repelent, you can carry some extra things as camera, flash light, water etc
- At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
- The period from Aprilovember to March, more warm clothing is advised.
- After using services of rowing boat trip, local tuktuk (cyclo); bellman or waiter always expect some tippings for their hard work besides of their fixed salary.
