7.30: Meet at the pickup point, then take the 1.5-hour drive to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province, the gateway to the Mekong Delta, passing through the lush scenery and vast green rice paddy fields
Stop for a short visit to Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest and most beautiful in the Mekong Delta
Arrive at My Tho and take a boat trip along the Mekong River and observe the daily lives of locals born and raised on the water and living in floating houses
Escape the busy town as the boat winds through the small canals and waterways, to a coconut island in Ben Tre. We disembark and explore the village on foot. Stop at the house of a local family to sample delicious tropical fruit, honey tea, honey wine and listen to a Vietnamese traditional music performance by the villagers
Stroll through the village to the coconut candy shop, and learn how to make the local specialty candy. See the collection of handicrafts all made from coconut. Wander around and immerse yourself in the village lifestyle amongst the fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, and the children having fun. A great opportunity for photos and to enjoy the amazing scenery
Stop at a local restaurant for a set lunch of special Vietnamese dishes from the region. After lunch, chill out, or take a cycle ride around the village
Set off by car to Can Tho Province. Check-in hotel. Head out on your own or with friends for dinner

Breakfast is served early at the hotel.
After breakfast, start to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River by boat and visit Cai Rang Floating Market where hundreds of wooden boats sell everything imaginable from fruit to clothing
Nearby to the market, we stop at a famous noodle factory and have fun attempting to make Vietnamese vermicelli noodles
Trek along the village paths through the village and share the experiences of the local villagers. Cross over the canals using the traditional rickety “Monkey bridge” built bamboo an experience not to be missed
After leaving the village, head back to the riverside and choose your own place for lunch
After lunch, we proceed to Chau Doc and continue the tour to visit the delicate mangrove landscape of Tra Su Cajuput Forest, a wildlife sanctuary covering 850 hectares. Glide through the narrow winding canals and waterways in a sampan rowing boat, gazing at the amazing wildlife including storks, cranes, and other tropical birds
Arrive in Chau Doc, check-in hotel and overnight in Chau Doc
Breakfast is served at the hotel.
Board a motorized boat for a slow relaxing trip through the floating village to visit the floating fish farm specializing in Basa fish, and watch how the fish are fed and raised by fish farmers
After the fish farm, we visit a Cham Minority Village where they demonstrate how to weave towels and fabric using traditional methods. Visit the Muslim Temple and observe an Arabic class for the children.
The boat will return to Chau Doc and our air-conditioned bus for an interesting visit to an Incense factory where you can watch the step by step process of making a variety of incense sticks
Return to Can Tho for a delicious lunch in a local restaurant and then our bus will set off back to HCM City around 17.00 pm – 18.00 pm. Say goodbye and hope to see you again

What to know?
- Do not wear short clothes when visiting pagodas, temples, churches and mausoleum
- Special food's request (diet or vegetarian, food allergy …) should be informed before your departure date.
- Beside the essential items such as long sleeve clothes, hat, trekking shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repelent, you can carry some extra things as camera, flash light, water etc
- At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
- The period from April to October will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (~SPF30) and from November to March, more warm clothing is advised.
- After using services of rowing boat trip, local tuktuk (cyclo); bellman or waiter always expect some tippings for their hard work besides of their fixed salary.
- Every hotel/homestay have free luggage storage rooms for their clients. You can consider to re-pack again for each tour while the other items can be left at hotel
