07.30 - 08.00: Our tour guide will acome and collect you from your accommodation to start the Ba Be adventure, and you''ll then drive about 5 hours through several Vietnamese provinces. On the way to Ba Be National Park, we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant, before our route takes us up through the mountains and tea plantations

You will then travel to the Tay Village Of Coc Toc, where The Tay People live and have built heir community in traditional houses on stilts. Very friendly to visitors, the local Tay population will welcome you with open arms, introducing you to their main way of life which consists of fishing in the lake and rice-farming

You'll spend the night in a homestay, to really get an intimate look at Tay culture and daily life. After checking in at the homestay, your will take a rest for a short time, then go for a walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Then you'll go to Hua Ma Cave, prominent for it's thousands of stalactites and stalagmites

For the rest of the day you have the option of biking around the villages with your guide or spending the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the serene views, or if you wish to take a short kayak trip to explore the Ba Be Lake, we can discuss this with our guide and arrange for you (may be extra fees paid by yourself)

Finish our first day of our Ba Be National Park Adventure Tour by having dinner and sleeping with the local family

Once breakfast is completed we'll go aboard a boat. The Ba Be Lake journey is one the very top things to do in Ba Be National Park. You can spend your time on the boat however you wish, whether it’s relaxing and enjoying the views or going for a swim in the cool waters to refresh yourself. The most interesting attractions in Ba Be National Park are the stunning karst formations all around you covered with patches of wild vegetation and a rich wildlife.

Heading along the Nang River will give you a chance to explore the caves of Puong Grotto where you can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites created through river erosion, as well as getting to see the thousands of bats that have made their home here.

After your exploration of the lake, you will get back in the car to go back to Hanoi, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way

Lunch will be served in a local restaurant

We arrive in Hanoi at about 17:30, finishing our 2-day adventure tour to Ba Be National Park. It’s time to say your goodbyes to your guide, driver and see you on the next trip
