07.45 – 08.15: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the 2-hour drive to Ha Long Bay through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta Region

We take a short 25min ferry to Cat Ba Island and board Unicharm Cruise La Ha Bay

The crew will welcome you on board with a refreshing cold drink while listening to a brief of the cruise itinerary. Check-in the room

A delicious lunch is prepared for you and served in the restaurant, with an amazing array of fresh seafood, and both local and international dishes. 

We set sail so you can enjoy your lunch while cruising through the majestic karst landscape of Halong Bay, passing Cap Bail Islet, Finger Islet (Hon Ngon Tay), Titop Island and into Lan Ha Bay passing Frog Lagoon, Three Peaches Beach (Ba Trai Dao Beach), Stick Islet (Hon Dua Island) and Buddha Islet

Arrive in Lan Ha Bay, take a kayak to explore magnificent karst mountains, through a tunnel to a hidden grotto with a stunning lagoon. Dive in and enjoy swimming and snorkeling. Visit a floating fishing village, meet the fisherman, and learn a little about their way of life. 

Relax on a pristine secluded beach, sunbathe and watch the sunset over the bay

Return to Unicharm Cruise Lan Ha Bay in time for our Cooking Class with the chef

Enjoy a spectacular dinner with the most amazing variety of dishes

Relax for the remainder of the evening, chill at the bar or try Squid Fishing

Wake up early for the awesome sunrise over Lan Ha Bay

06.30 - 08.00am: Enjoy a healthy set-menu breakfast.

Board a local motorboat for the 40-minute trip through Lan Ha Bay to Cat Ba Island, passing by Cai Beo Floating Fishing Village and then a short drive up to the center of the Cat Ba National Park

From here, we will trek (approx. 3 hours return) through the park up to Ngu Lam Peak. At the summit, there are spectacular, panoramic views of Cat Ba Island, Lan Ha Bay, and Ha Long Bay. 

On the return trek, you can choose to either visit the Hospital Cave, which was used as a hospital to treat wounded soldiers during the war, or visit Trung Trang Cave

Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, we take the car and visit Cannon Fort, an old battle fort built to protect the island. There are various remnants, relics, and ruins to see but the vantage point also provides stunning views of the whole of Cat Ba Town and Lan Ha Bay.

Return to Unicharm Cruise Lan Ha Bay, where you can enjoy a relaxing time swimming or kayaking around the cruise ship and the bay

Dinner is served in the restaurant, with a superb banquet of fresh seafood and a variety of other Vietnamese dishes

The rest of the evening is for you to choose, go Squid Fishing, chill at the bar, or just relax under the magnificent Lan Ha Bay night sky

Wake up at dawn to catch the sunrise

06.30 - 08.00am: Prepare for the day’s activities with a light breakfast including fruit, juices, cakes, tea, coffee, or mineral water

07.30: Transfer by Tender boat to Cat Ba Island for an adventurous bicycle trip to Viet Hai Fishing Village, situated in a beautiful valley in the heart of Cat Ba National Park. The bike ride takes around 30 minutes along narrow jungle and forest tracks, through the jungle and a sea of green rice paddy fields

The fishing village is a hidden beauty where the locals live in houses made from simple materials such as bamboo, wood, leaves, and soil and still follow an ancient and primitive lifestyle

Try your hand working as a local farmer or fisherman, laugh as you learn to plow along with a buffalo. Visit old houses and talk to friendly locals about their daily lives

Hop on the bicycle and head back to the tender boat and return to Unicharm Cruise Lan Ha Bay.

Relax sunbathing on the sundeck or go swimming in the cool clear waters of the bay

10.30: Check out and enjoy a beautifully prepared brunch, as we cruise back to the port through the amazing and magnificent Lan Ha Bay, Halong Bay scenery with thousands of limestone islands and islets.

Disembark, after saying final farewells, and then transfer back to Hanoi

Arrive at Hanoi and drop off at your hotel. This ends the unforgettable voyage to Ha Long Bay / Lan Ha Bay with the Unicharm Cruise
