Although not as famous as Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba Island is always attractive to tourists because of the rich and diverse tourist area including mountains, sea, forests, caves and pristine beaches. With our 3 day 2 night tour, we create many attractive activities such as trekking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling that will be very suitable for adventure lovers.

HIGHLIGHT:

7.30: You will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and taken to Cat Ba island by bus and speedboat. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cat Ba town and have some free time as well as lunch on your own before the afternoon tour.

13.00: The local English speaking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour to Cat Ba National Park.

From here, you will do a 2 or 3 hour trekking through the Kim Giao forest (which provides the wood for chopsticks) to the top of the mountain where you can see a breathtaking view of valleys, bird watching and if you are lucky, you will see some wild animals: squirrels, snakes, frogs, thousands of butterflies…

After that, come down and on the way come back we will visit the Hospital cave, where there’s a lot of historical secrets from the American war. Then return to your hotel in Cat Ba town at about 17.00. Have the rest of the day on your own

8.00: The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel.

Get on the boat to sail to Lan Ha – one of the most beautiful Bays in Ha Long community with hundreds of small and big islands where various charming mini deserted beaches and lagoons. Boat stops for you do kayaking to discover the Lan Ha bay, swimming, snorkeling to see corals and visit the floating village. A professional fisherman will show and teach you the local way to fish.

12.00: Have lunch with local food (some fish which were catched will be cooked and served on boat).

After Lunch the boat continue the trip to Tung Gau, a beautiful lagoon and from here, you can do kayaking through the rock arch to lagoon, relaxing yourself with wonderful lanscapes.

17.00: Return to your hotel in Cat Ba town.

Have dinner and rest of time on your own then spend the last night on Cat Ba island.

You will have free time on your own before catching the bus to return Hanoi. The bus leaves at 9.00, 12.25 and 15:30 daily so please let us know the time you want to come back in advance to arrange the bus for you.

Trip ends at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and hope you had an enjoyable trip with us.

What to know?

Do not wear short clothes when visiting pagodas, temples, churches and mausoleum
Special food's request (diet or vegetarian, food allergy …) should be informed before your departure date.
At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
The period from April to October will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (~SPF30) and from November to March, more warm clothing is advised.
After using services of rowing boat trip, local tuktuk (cyclo); bellman or waiter always expect some tippings for their hard work besides of their fixed salary.
Every hotel/homestay have free luggage storage rooms for their clients. You can consider to re-pack again your neccessery handbag or backpack for each tour while the other can be left at hotel
