Show program in details

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and taken to Cat Ba island by bus and speedboat. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Cat Ba town and you will have the rest day to explore the island and take in the beautiful scenery. Going to the beach for some beach relaxing is also an idea.

Note: The bus time table is at 7.30, 10.45 so please let me know the time you want to depart in advance for us to have well arrangement.

9.15: Our guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel to Cat Ba National Park.

9.30: Do a 3 to 4 hour trekking through the mountain rain forest and valleys. Visit Frog Lake and wild animals.

13.00: Arrive at Viet Hai village, the small fishing village. There are 200 people are living here in bamboo or wooden houses.

Have lunch with local food. Walk around to visit the village, you will meet some friendly local people and know their life and culture here.

19.00: Have dinner in village then spend overnight in the bungalow. You will feel the very peaceful atmosphere in here.

7.30: Have breakfast then check out from the bungalow.

8.30: Follow the local guide who will take you to the jungle and hike up to the top of the mountain where you will admire the panoramic view of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. Come down then do cycling pass the rice field and valleys to the dock.

12.00: Get on the boat to cruise to Lan Ha Bay. Have lunch on the boat.

13.30: Do kayaking to discover the bay, snorkeling, swimming at a private deserted beach. Then visit the floating fishing village.

17.00: Return to your hotel in Cat Ba town and spend the last night here.

You will have free time on your own before catching the bus to return Hanoi. Trip ends at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and hope you had an enjoyable trip with us.

What to know?

Do not wear short clothes when visiting pagodas, temples, churches and mausoleum
Special food's request (diet or vegetarian, food allergy …) should be informed before your departure date.
At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
The period from April to October will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (~SPF30) and from November to March, more warm clothing is advised.
After using services of rowing boat trip, local tuktuk (cyclo); bellman or waiter always expect some tippings for their hard work besides of their fixed salary.
Every hotel/homestay have free luggage storage rooms for their clients. You can consider to re-pack again your neccessery handbag or backpack for each tour while the other can be left at hotel
