Stella Maris Daily Cruise Itinerary

Hanoi to Halong Bay

• 06:00 - 06:30: Guests who have booked the transfer service are collected from designated hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter.
• Travel to Halong Bay via the expressway. A short comfort stop may be arranged depending on the day’s transfer schedule.
• Guests joining directly in Halong should arrive at Tuan Chau International Marina according to the meeting time confirmed by AZOTOUR.

Boarding at Tuan Chau Marina

• Around 09:00: Complete the check-in procedure and board Stella Maris Daily Cruise.
• Meet the crew, receive a welcome drink and listen to the itinerary and safety briefing before the vessel departs into Halong Bay.

Scenic Cruising

• 09:30 - 11:30: Cruise through Halong Bay and enjoy views of its limestone islands and rock formations. Depending on the sailing route and visibility, the cruise may pass formations such as Dog Islet, Duck Islet and Thumb Islet.
• Guests can relax in the restaurant, spend time on the sundeck or take photographs as the vessel travels deeper into the bay.

Buffet Lunch Onboard

• Around 12:00: Enjoy a buffet lunch onboard, with Vietnamese dishes and seafood selections.
• The buffet format may depend on the number of passengers. A set-menu lunch may be served on departures with fewer guests. Vegetarian meals and dietary requests should be submitted to AZOTOUR before the travel date.

Explore Sung Sot Cave

• Around 13:00: Arrive in the Bo Hon Island area and visit Sung Sot Cave, also known as Surprise Cave.
• The guided walk takes guests through large chambers filled with naturally formed stalactites and stalagmites. Access involves stairs and uneven surfaces, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• Guests who prefer not to visit the cave may remain onboard, subject to the crew’s instructions.

Kayaking or Bamboo Boat at Luon Cave

• Around 14:00: Continue to the Luon Cave area, where guests can explore the calm lagoon by kayak or bamboo boat.
• The activity normally lasts approximately 30 minutes. Availability depends on weather, tides, water conditions and instructions from the Halong Bay authorities.

Visit Titov Island

• Around 15:00: Visit Titov Island and choose between climbing to the viewpoint or relaxing near the beach.
• The viewpoint provides a broad panorama across Halong Bay but requires climbing a considerable number of steps. Swimming may be possible when weather, water quality and local regulations permit.

Afternoon Refreshments

• Around 16:00: Return to the cruise for afternoon refreshments. Tea, coffee, fruit and snacks may be served while the vessel travels back toward Tuan Chau.
• Guests can relax on the sundeck and enjoy the late-afternoon scenery. The cruise may pass through the Hoa Cuong area on the return journey.

Return to Tuan Chau and Hanoi

• Around 17:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau International Marina and disembark.
• Guests who booked a transfer return to Hanoi by road.
• Around 20:30: Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter. The exact drop-off time depends on traffic and the confirmed transfer arrangement.
