Nam Dinh is the land of religious monuments, home of various traditional festivals and rituals. With our one day tour, we bring you to visit many attractive sites such as Vi Khe bonsai village which is one of the most beautiful bonsai villages in Vietnam, Xuan Thuy National Park where is internationally significant as a migratory bird habitat. In addition, you could gain insights into the lives of coastal fishermen in salt fields and around the riverside village.

In the morning, Our English speaking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel to start the tour to Nam Dinh

After 2 hour driving we will reach Vi Khe bonsai village which is one of the most beautiful bonsai villages in Vietnam. Each shape of bonsai trees is associated to a story, such as a landed dragon, a mother holding her baby, Phoenix, horses, dogs,….or the symbol Temple of Literature made by the tree.

Then, we will make our way to Xuân Thủy National Park by boat, cruise to discover the Clam Farm, experience the process of clam growing. Check in the Clam Hut and have seafood lunch on the Hut. Absorb the atmosphere and relax. This definitely is a great experience in your lifetime.

After lunch, we will transfer to Bach Long Salt Village, enrich our knowledge of the process of how to make salt from seawater and explore the daily life of the poor people in there.

On the way back to Hanoi, we will stop in Phu Nhai Church and have a short visit.

What to know?

Do not wear short clothes when visiting pagodas, temples, churches and mausoleum
Special food's request (diet or vegetarian, food allergy …) should be informed before your departure date.
At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
The period from April to October will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (~SPF30) and from November to March, more warm clothing is advised.
After using services of rowing boat trip, local tuktuk (cyclo); bellman or waiter always expect some tippings for their hard work besides of their fixed salary.
