Myanmar is often called “The Land of Pagodas”, as there are numerous temples and pagodas right across the country, so many that no one knows exactly how many! They will form one of the main highlights of our trip, as we will visit various different temples, pagodas, and stupas every day.

In the afternoon, ready for tour in Myanmar's Capital Touring. Showing respect for Myanmar’s religions and traditions is of utmost importance. Both men and women should dress conservatively; cover your shoulders and wear knee-long skirts or trousers. When entering a pagoda or temple, always take off your shoes.

Start touring by visiting The Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, where is placed one of the biggest colossal reclining Buddha Image. Then, going to Sule Pagoda, with its iconic golden chedi (domed edifice), which stands squarely at the center point of the city

This evening enjoy a special visit to the massive Shwedagon Pagoda – Its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart ’ of Buddhism in Myanmar, attracting pilgrims worldwide. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. The pagoda is encrusted with nearly 8,000 diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and topaz, and set with a 76-carat diamond at the tip.

After breakfast at hotel, we will check out and proceed to Golden Rock, via Bago.

You will head to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda in Mon State. On the way, you will visit the Allied War Cemetery near Htaukkyant. It is a beautiful, well maintained peaceful cemetery and the final resting place for over 27,000 Allied soldiers.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant en-route.

Proceed visiting to Kyaikhtiyo, located 160km from Yangon, and ‘Golden Rock’ is a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Our first stop would be at Kin Pun base camp.

From there, you will go up a steep 11km road in, a typically crowded open air trucks will take you to reach the upper place of Pagoda. The exciting heart pounding journey is expected to be about 45 minutes. The final ascend to the Golden Rock will be on foot (20 minutes of hiking).

Should you decide for a longer hiking journey, you can top to stop at the middle camp, Hermit Hill. From here it, will be 60 minutes of hiking.

From the mountain top, you will enjoy great views of the surrounding hills and a beautiful sunset. Then stroll around to the local restaurants and herbs stalls near the pagoda.

You have 2 options for accommodations (Mountain Top Hotel at the top of the hill, or Golden Rock Hotel in the middle camp or another at base camp, Kimpun).

After breakfast, you can take a short admiring of Golden Rock 1 more time, before taking the open truck and drive down to the base camp. Then, drive back (6 hrs) to Yangon

On the way back, we will continue sightseeing in Bago, such as the Kanbawzathardi Palace, built by King Bayintnaung and also take a visit of the Museum (closed on Mondays and Public holidays).

Enjoy your lunch in Bago.

After lunch, keep going to the Shwe Tha Lyaung, a giant reclining Buddha image and Kyaik Paw Law Pagoda famous for its living mole on the face of Buddha Statue.

From there, proceed to visit the Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda which is 15 meters taller than Shwedagon Pagoda before transfer back to Yangon.

Breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to the airport for flight from Yangon to Bagan, a riverside plain dotted with thousands of 800-year old temples and pagodas, and one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia.

Upon the arrival at Bagan Airport, tour guide will welcome you at the entrance gate.

Your tour here begins with a visit to Shwezigon Pagoda. Built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, this is Myanmar’s most significant religious structure, serving as a prototype for many stupas (temples) that followed.

Check in at your hotel, then your sightseeing tour continues with a visit to Ananda Temple, a white-washed masterpiece of Mon architecture. This was the first of Bagan’s great temples, and perhaps most photographed. View the four huge standing Buddha images, well-preserved murals, and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior.

Have lunch in the local restaurant

After lunch, keep going to Thatbyinnyu Temple. The tallest temple, it measures over 200 feet tall, and dates from 1144.Then, to Htilominlo Temple, the largest temple of Bagan, noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations. Admire the fine brickwork at the Dhamannyangyi Temple, then relax as you watch sunset along Ayeyarwaddy River.

This morning, explore the colorful Nyaung Oo Local Market, then keep touring to Manuha Temple, built by the imprisoned Mon King Manuha. Inside are four Buddha, each too large for their space – meant to represent Manuha’s displeasure at his being held captive. Continue to the 11th century Nanphaya Temple. It is sandstone over a brick core, with perforated stone windows typical of earlier Bagan architecture. The Nanpaya Temple is Bagan's first gu-style (cave) shrine. See the sophisticated 12th century Sulamuni Temple and the Hindi NatHlaung Kyaung Temple before lunch at a local restaurant.

Our next place is Manuha Myingaba Village, and meet the women weavers at a local village, making clothes on traditional looms as they have for generations.

Late afternoon, you are transferred to the airport for your flight back to Yangon. On arrival at Yangon, you have time to relax at to your hotel and overnight in Yangon
