Landing at Luang Prabang International Airport, our English speaking tour guide and private car will pick you up at the airport with a sign board and transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

This morning, we will drive to Khouangsi Waterfall, take a stop along the way to visit Phousi Morning Market where the locals of Luang Prabang do their daily exchange products. You will have a chance to see a variety of local foodstuffs and other items including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruits, or everything needed for their daily life.

Arrival in Khouangsi Waterfall, you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. You will also enjoy a picnic lunch beside the falls.

Upon return to Luang Prabang, we take our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. 

Returning to Luang Prabang, we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Today we depart early for a drive through spectacular scenery to Xiengkhouang Province, the home of the Plain of Jars.  There are many stunning photo opportunities along the way and a couple of stops to explore hill tribe villages. After check in at your hotel in Phonsavan, there will be time to go for a wonder through town, visit the MAG Centre or chill out over a drink at the hotel.

Dinner is managed by your own and overnight in Xiengkhouang.

This morning we head out to explore the Plain of Jars. We will be visiting Sites 1, 2 & 3 as well as taking a short trek to a Tai Dam & Lao Leum Village along the way.

Following lunch, we will drive on to explore the old capital of Muang Khoun and the nearby villages, home to the Hmong Hill Tribe and Tai Dam People.

On our way out of town this morning, we have time to visit the interesting Phonsavan Central Market and then drive on to Luang Prabang arriving there midafternoon.

Have breakfast at your hotel. Free and easy at Luang Prabang, until our driver picks you up at hotel and transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi.

Upon the arrival at Noi Bai Airport, other tour guide and driver will pick you up at airport and transfer to hotel.

Check in hotel, then, have lunch in the local restaurant 

After lunch, we start a short visit in Hanoi Capital, including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) Ho Chi Minh House-on-stilt (Uncle Ho house), the Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda where worshipping the Godess of Mercy - the most unique pagoda in the world.

Next to West Lake - Hanoi’s biggest lake, Tran Quoc pagoda - a Buddhist relic and national heritage lying on the West Lake.

Our last stop today is Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, dedicated to a former general commander Tran Hung Dao for his struggle against Mongolians.

08.00 – 08.30: Halong Cruise's English speaking tour guide and  shuttle bus pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

08:30: Departure to Ha Long Bay for 3.5 hours, including a short break on the way 

10:00: Arrive in Hai Duong Province, and have 20 minute short break.

12:00: Arrive to Tuan Chau Harbor, 12:15 Welcome to cruise and enjoy Welcome drink, get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

12:30: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

07.30: Our tourguide and car will pick you up at hotel in Hanoi and drive to Ha Giang. It takes us around 6 hours with some stops for short breaks and photos. Then, take a scenic drive to Quan Ba Twin Mountain, a small town in the province with stops en route for photographs at Heaven’s Gate and the Fairy Mountain. Have local lunch on the way. Check in homestay at Nam Dam Village at the end of the day. Have herbal bath by local herbal at lodge.

Dinner at the homestay and locals will show you a traditional perfomance of “Le cap sac”, an initiation ritual marking a young man’s entry into manhood or a traditional wedding ceremony.

Overnight in Nam Dam Village, Quan Ba.

Breakfast at the homestay. Morning, depart to visit Lung Tam Weaving Village. In this village of the H’mong Minority, we will learn how to make hemp fabrics from locally grown hemp in Northwest Vietnam. There, you will have an opportunity to talk to the local people to learn about their way of life, culture and customs.

After that, continue the undulating terrain, between 700m and 1,300m in altitude, through extraordinary mountainous landscapes and terraced paddy fields. Stop at Sung La to discover a LoLo House and its people (Lo Lo minority group is one of Vietnam’s least-common ethnic people and are only found within this region). Afterwards, visit the impressive ancient Vuong's Palace (H’mong King Palace) before reaching Dong Van Town. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit Lung Cu Flag Tower – North Pole of Vietnam  - this is the landmark with important historical signifiance. Arrive in Dong Van in the afternoon, check in hotel. Overnight l in Dong Van.

After breakfast and enjoy some cups of coffee at your hotel in Dong Van Town – plateau of rock mountain, relaxing a short time at this mountain town, we will start our long journey to Meo Vac through villages. Visit the Ma Pi Leng Pass – the one of 4 wonder highest passes in Vietnam, take the panorama view of the beautiful Nho Que River flows around mountain ranges, the best views in North East of Vietnam. Lunch is arranged on the way. Arrive in Ha Giang City. Check in the hotel and time at leisure for a stroll around.  Lunch at a local restaurant. Overnigth in Ha Giang.

After breakfast at homestay, we check out and continue our journey from Ha Giang to Sapa. It takes us 6 hours for driving to Sapa, including some stops for photos and short breaks. Lunch at local restaurant in Sapa.

Arrive in Sapa in the afternoon, check in, free time to visit Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up and walk down to the South East of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa Valley to Y Linh Ho Village of the Black H’mong. Continue a 2km trekking down to Lao Chai Village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van Village of the Dzay minority people. We will have lunch at a local family, to give you a worth chance to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom, landscapes… on the way. Our last trek is about 2km to Ta Van Village. Get on private car back to Sapa Town, collect all luggages and transfer you back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi at around 21.00pm. Drop you off at hotel for overnight in Hanoi.

08.00: In the morning, our tour guide & private car will pick you up at hotel and then start our Hue City tour:

Firstly, visit Thanh Toan Bridge – a rare tiled roof bridge in Vietnam. This wooden arched bridge has been built for the local villagers who are into farming and fishing. It connects the local market and the village houses.

Then, continue to Minh Mang Tomb which is considered as the most majestic of all of the Royal Tombs. The impressive architecture that complements with the nature gives you a good impression of the Emperor who lives within the walls of the 18 hectares tomb. More than a spiritual tomb, Minh Mang Tomb had became one of the top attractions in Hue for travellers

Keep going to Khai Dinh Tomb - the smallest but the most expensive tomb of all. Every corners of the tomb is very detailed which reflects how luxurious the emperor was. It is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture.

Have lunch a local restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine.

14.00: After ward, we continue to visit:

In the afternoon, we will be transfered to visit Hue Imperial Citadel - home of Vietnam's last royal dynasty - Nguyen Dynasty. This is the highlight of the tour. You will learn the rise, struggles and fall of the Nguyen Dynasty and how it affected the whole country.

Then, to Thien Mu Pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda) - the oldest pagoda in Hue city. From here, we will get on a dragon boat to cruise on Huong river (Perfume river) and back to the city.

Finish our excellent Hue full day city tour.  Drop you off at your hoteland overnight in Hue

In the afternoon: take a visit of My Son Sanctuary which was once an imperial city during the Champa dynasty, between the 4th and the 12th centuries. It comprises many Champa Temples, in a valley roughly two kilometers wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty, and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. Spend about 1.5 hour to see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Overnight in Hoi An

08.00: Picking you up at your hotel by mini - van, we will bring you over the countryside where bike are available to ride (If you don't know how to ride bicycles, you can take optional choice with our scooter "XE OM" services and with extra charge about 6 USD/passenger). You start the day by cycling to the local farmer in Cam Thanh Ecological Village. Here you are greeted by a local host and then you join with them how to grow wet rice with their family.

Starting farming work like plough and raking with buffalo, riding water buffalo, learning how to transplant rice, flooding farm, grinding rice, pounding rice.

After then, Our guide and van will bring down to a local fishing village. You will be boarded on boat . Joining to go fishing with local fishermen at Phuoc Hai local fishing boat to experience local cast net CHAI. Continue to visit water coconut palm jungle, enjoying the basket boat and visiting the water coconut palm forest. Learn how to learn origami such as grasshoppers, flowers, rings, caps, bracelets toys made from water coconut leaves..., Having a fun to catch crab around the water coconut palm forest and after then boarding back boat, and locals will cook for your lunch/dinner and cold beer or soft drink we will bring you back to your hotel.

14.00: Ends of our Eco tour at your hotel and short relaxing

8.30: Transfer from Ho Chi Minh City for Cai Be, stopping en route at the ornate Cao Dai Temple. From Cai Be ,take a boat trip along the mighty Mekong River and its tributaries to view the daily lives of people who work and play on the waterways of the Mekong Delta.The trip includes a visit to the floating market at Cai Be, and a family-run business producing pop rice, coconut candy, rice paper- a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine. Lunch is on an island mid-river, in a local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees and then followed by a performance of traditional Vietnamese music. Continue to Vinh Long by sampan boat and proceed by car to Can Tho for overnight.

08.30: We will start city tour to visit War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, followed by exploring Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office

We will have lunch before go to Cu Chi Tunnels to explore the amazing site where Viet Cong hid during the War. It is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone". Visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed before entering the tunnels. Spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food in war time). Return to hotel. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Your last dinner in Vietnam will be arranged at a local restaurant

  • Do not wear short clothes when visiting pagodas, temples, churches and mausoleum

  • At the weekend (every Fri, Sat, Sun) Hanoi Old Quarter area does not allow vehicles, so we will inform you in advance to pick up/drop you off at nearby streets
  • The period from April to October will good to pack a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen (~SPF30) and from November to March, more warm clothing is advised.
