ITINERARY:

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (L/D)

08.00 -12.00: Pick up in Hanoi Old Quarter, transfer to Halong (for clients book transfer service with us).

12.30: Arrive at Tuan Chau Port – Board Indochina Sails, enjoy welcome drink, receive cruise briefing and safety instructions.

Enjoy the deluxe Vietnamese set menu lunch while the boat setting sail into Ha Long Bay (Massage service is available after lunch and throughout the cruise. Please book it in advance). We cruise through the incredible bay passing the most beautiful and quiet area including Incense Burner Island, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock Island, Finger Islet...

In the afternoon, explore the Sung Sot Cave - one of the most spectacular and largest grottoes of Halong. The mouth of the grotto is reached by ascending about a hundred stone steps.

Come back to the boat, we organize a fruit and vegetable carving lesson led by our chef. During the lesson, the chef will conduct fruit and vegetable carving showing the guests how we decorate and make some traditional Vietnamese food.

18.00 – 19.00: "Happy Hour" - (Buy 1 drink get 1 free; wine by the bottle excluded).

Dinner is served on board. After dinner, spend your free time to relax in your cabin or attend in evening activities board games and playing cards are available, and massage services are available (please book directly with the cruise manager). Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat. Overnight on board.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L)

Rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck (it takes about 30 minutes). Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries are available.

Next, transfer by tender to the Titop Island. About 01 hour is spent on the island allowing time for a climb up the steps to the peak for a breathtaking 360 degree view of the bay (there is also an expansive viewing deck half way up). After the climb there is time left to relax on the beach and have a swim.

Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier).

09.30: Enjoy a full breakfast in the dining room. Bills are settled after breakfast. Relax while cruising back to the mainland.

On arrive at Tuan Chau Port, relax inside the pier building while waiting for return transportation.

12.00 – 16.00: Transfer from Halong to Hanoi (for clients book transfer service with us). On arrival, drop at your hotel or meeting point. Ends of tour.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

The day starts early onboard Indochina Sails with Tai Chi session on the sundeck, then enjoy a lovely breakfast served with coffee, tea and pastries.

Next, guests are transferred to the Day boat, a spacious and comfortable wooden junk with lounge, dining room and a sundeck with lounging furniture. Daytime activities include cruising to less trafficked areas of the bay, visiting Luon Cave – guests can find golden hair monkeys here. Explore Cua Van Fisherman Village - This is one of the largest fishing villages on the bay. Guests can visit the floating village on small bamboo boats (sampans) rowed by villagers.

Lunch is served on board mid-day. After lunch, the crew will take you to visit the Pearl Farm in the afternoon.

Around 16.00: return Indochina Sails Junk and relax onboard as we sail to the overnight anchorage.

What to know?

  • Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and Ha Long Bay’s stuation operating without prior notice.
  • Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather. Unused services are subject to nonrefundable.
  • Inadvance register is required with fullname, passport, nationality, gender and visa for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by port authority.
  • Meals on board are fusion: Vietnamese, seafood & international. Guests should advise of any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements before departure date.
  • For safety: First aid kit is available at the Reception desk; Life jackets are in all cabins; No smoking in restaurant and cabin; Be aware of long jelly fish (seasonal)
  • Wi-Fi is available on the cruise, but internet connectivity is limited due to the geography of Halong. Thank you for your understanding.
